Where the First Post Would Be

October 14, 2026 · journal · personal

This is where the first journal post would live, if I had something to write about.

I didn’t expect the hardest part of starting a music journal to be the first sentence. I’ve written entire songs with less hesitation than this page is giving me. But here we are, and the honest truth is: it’s late, my brain has already gone on ahead without me, and I have to go to sleep now.

Yes, I know. A site soaked in morning light and first-coffee energy, and I’m typing its opening entry in the middle of the night like a complete amateur. The irony isn’t lost on me — it’s just too heavy to carry at this hour.

There’s a proper post coming, I promise. Something real about 432 Hz, or the kalimba, or why the desk looks its absolute best at seven in the morning. But tonight I’m taking the time-honored writer’s path instead: promising great things, then immediately going to bed.

So, officially, this is my first post. It says almost nothing — which, if you stop and think about it, makes it a very honest beginning for a blog about music that I haven’t gotten around to writing about yet, either.

I’ll be back tomorrow. With coffee. And, apparently, with opinions.
